Working closely with the communications staff, the intern will serve as a producer for select live streamed Pace Athletics events. In addition, the intern may work as a camera operator, operate the Tricaster and edit video content using Production Truck software. The intern will be exposed to and trained in equipment setup, pre-game preparation, software editing and camera operation. This internship will provide the successful candidate with a true hands-on, real world experience where he/she will be required to not only apply their classroom knowledge, but to think critically and strategically. The intern will also be exposed to other areas of the department.

Qualifications: Knowledge of the sport(s) the candidate will be covering is preferred. Candidates must possess strong communication skills, be comfortable with broadcast equipment, be able to work independently and as a member of a team, be highly motivated, detail-oriented, dependable, and responsible.

Location: The intern will work within the Pace University Athletics Department and attend athletics events specific to the internship.

Compensation: This is a non-paying, credit-based internship opportunity.

Timeframe and Schedule: 8-12 week internship, 12-15 hours per week, 40 hours per credit hour

Reports to: Alyssa Macur, Manager, Marketing and Creative Media, Pace Athletics

The Assistant Athletics Director for Communications will serve as mentor and supervisor for this position, but the intern may work directly with other members of the staff as well. The Assistant Athletics Director for Communications will meet with the intern face-to-face at mutually agreeable times and locations.
