Register for advertising career forum in March

Ad Age is hosting a free Gen Z Career Forum March 3 in NYC to help students learn what roles are growing, how careers in advertising and marketing work today, and how to build momentum early in a rapidly changing industry.

This in-person forum brings together marketing students, early career professionals and industry leaders for guided conversations about navigating career choices across advertising, marketing and media. Attendees will hear directly from professionals and recruiters about how roles are evolving, what skills matter most early on and how others have adapted their paths as the industry shifts.

As part of this initiative, the magazine is also extending a student subscription offer to Ad Age, giving students access to industry reporting, analysis and career resources.

Space is limited, so register soon.

Take grad courses as an undergrad

Take grad courses as an undergrad

Pace juniors and seniors: if you’re still looking for courses to complete your spring schedule, check out our graduate course offerings!

Pace University allows you to take up to two graduate courses as an undergraduate. It’s a great way to boost your undergraduate experience, explore different kinds of courses, and give you a possible head start on a master’s degree. Pace just requires that you be at least a junior, have a minimum 3.0 GPA and permission from our department chair, Paul Ziek.

Check out our graduate courses on Schedule Explorer. If you see one you like, complete a Registration Action Form (Course Restriction Override Form) through the registrar’s office.

Here’s one spring course you should consider: MCA 680 Media Law. Knowledge of media law is crucial for all types of communicators. This course covers copyright, defamation, privacy, obscenity, and tons more. And it’s being taught by an expert in the field, Jeff Hermes with the Media Law Resource Center.

If you’re thinking about a graduate degree, consider one of our combined degree options! You can combine the MA in Communications and Digital Media with any MCVA undergraduate major. Apply by your junior year, and complete your bachelor’s and master’s degree in just five years total. Talk with your academic advisor for more information.
