For students eager to learn more about the NBCU internship experience, the Early Careers Recruitment Team is hosting a series of virtual events which will include special guest appearances from current NBCU Interns. These sessions offer an invaluable chance for students to connect directly with NBCU recruiters and gain insights into the Summer 2026 Program (June – August 2026).
These events will be held virtually during the week of November 10:
- STREAMING, TV & FILMED ENTERTAINMENT | Tuesday, 11/11 @ 7PM EDT/4PM PDT
- NEWS, SPORTS, & AD SALES | Wednesday, 11/12 @ 7PM EDT/4PM PDT
- TECHNOLOGY + DATA SCIENCE & ANALYTICS | Thursday, 11/13 @ 7PM EDT/4PM PDT
These events are open to students who are eligible for our Summer 2026 Internship Program as well as university faculty and staff.
For reference, program basic requirements are below:
- Must be actively enrolled in a degree-granting program at an accredited institution during the entire duration of the program. Spring 2026 graduates are not eligible for the upcoming Summer 2026 Internship Program.
- Current class standing of sophomore or above (30 credits).
- Must be presently authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. and must not require work visa sponsorship from NBCUniversal now or in the future to retain authorization to work in the U.S.
- Must be working from a location within a U.S. state during all hours worked.
For further clarification, candidates currently on any student or exchange visa (e.g. F-1 CPT, F-1 OPT, J-1, M-1) are not eligible to apply unless they will be able to change or adjust to another status that grants work authorization without NBCUniversal sponsorship. NBCUniversal is an E-Verify company, requiring all employees to have an active Social Security number.
Please fill out this quick survey by Wednesday, November 5, to express interest in one or more events and register.
