The inaugural issue of Media Makers: An MCVA Magazine features stories of a successful alumna, experienced PaceDocs study-abroad students, female student organization leaders, and an award-winning, faculty-led community journalism initiative.

This new student-produced department magazine is the product of a collaboration between MCA 337: Writing Public Relations Copy, taught by clinical assistant professor Heather Hayes, and MCA 160: Digital Photography, taught by clinical associate professor Lou Guarneri. This publication is a hallmark of the MCVA curriculum—experiential education that inspires.
